A Hill Country Texan through and through, Georgia Parker was raised on the banks of the Guadalupe River in Boerne. With her style of country and Western swing channeling the traditions of the past, Parker’s musical career is not a far leap for a former naturalist and survivalist instructor, as both require a deep admiration for the essentials of the region.

Parker maintains the rhythmic foundation for acts such as The Lonesome Heroes, The Bluegrass Outfit, Bo DePeña, Hartley Hall, Daisy O’Connor, David Beck, and Doug Strahan as an upright bassist, but since picking up her guitar and stepping forward as a bandleader in 2015, she has made her way far and wide across the state of Texas and beyond with a group of her own. In addition, she has fronted several regional acts that pair well with Parker’s traditional style such as the Al Dressen's Super Swing Revue and The Railhouse Band.

Her appearances at legendary venues such as The Cactus Cafe (Austin), Anderson Fair (Houston), and The Western Swing Hall of Fame (San Marcos) have showcased an artist on the rise who is ready to impress in any setting.
